It is the vision of Thomas Petroleum Company to become the dominant alternative fuel marketer in the Southeast USA. With the opening of North Carolina’s first public E85 fueling center at Gasland #7 located in Shelby, TPC established itself as the leader in this arena of the petroleum fueling business. By the end of 2005, “Renewable Fuels for America” fueling islands became available at three Charlotte locations, two Shelby sites and one in Statesville.

Since the end of 2005, TPC has opened additional E85 fueling centers in Southern Pines, Pinehurst, Hickory, and in Durham. With these additional sites, TPC is the only E85 ethanol fuel provider to the 12 public North Carolina fueling locations. Nine of those sites also sell B20 biodiesel as an alternative fuel.

Thomas Petroleum Company is currently reviewing proposed site locations for additional E85 and B20 fueling centers throughout the Southeast. By providing “Tomorrow’s Fuel – Here Today” TPC is ahead of the curve in the petroleum field with the distribution of alternative fuels. With the growing interest in both the national and local marketplace, TPC feels that the time is now to establish itself as the leader in the alternative fuel industry. By taking an aggressive approach with these products, TPC is making a stand to reduce our nation’s dependency on foreign oil, to help the economy of the American farmer and to promote a cleaner environment for America.
